Consumers are willing to pay significantly more for organically grown products; however, researchers have identified premium pricing as a key barrier that continues to limit the organic market’s growth potential. Clearly defined environmental benefits, such as nitrogen recycling, may motivate some consumers to invest more in supporting organic agriculture.
